Question 2WD vs. ORP 4WD

I'm the proud owner of a 99 F150 Sport 2WD, E/Cab, XLT. It's got the 17" from last years 4x4's but with those "little" 275/60/17 tires on it. I want my truck to sit eye to eye with a ORP 4wd. What do I need to do?? Just put on some 265/70/17 tires or go with the tires and some bullseye spindles??? Any advice would be appreciated!

The bullseye spindles would be a good choice, or any 3 inch lift. But if you're going to spend the money on tires, go with another brand other than Goodyear. Many manufacturers make the 265/70R17 tire now. Also, at least here in San Diego, there's always someone selling their "take offs" from their ORP or Expy, and sometimes are as cheap as a new set of tires.
