Question RANCHO 9000'S

I would like to know if anyone has put rancho 9000's on their truck? How do you like them?

Have them I my truck and they are fine. I think I could have gotten away with the 5000's considering I have never changed the settings!? Rancho is a quality shock and you really can't go wrong. Eddlebrock has a good setup also. I may try them next time around.

OLE BLUE,

I was waiting for more members to respond to this thread, oh well. I haven't switched shocks on my '99 yet. I have always used the RS 5000's on other trucks and liked them. I was looking into the 9000's for the new truck. The adjustability seems like a nice feature, but who wants to climb under their truck to adjust the shocks? Their remote system to adjust from the inside seems kinda "pricey" to me ($399.95 + installation). I think I'm going to look at the new RSX by Rancho, kinda between the 9000's and 5000's. Anyway, I like the Rancho product and will stick with them until they fail me.

Oh Ya,I have a buddy w/the 9000's without the remote kit and just like LuvTheC and he has never changed his settings either.

I have the 9000's and love them. I had put Edelbrocks on and they were a nice shock but not that big of a difference from the Trailmasters that I had, so I returned them and traded for the 9000's. I did also purchase the remote and mounted the gauges in the dash so it looks nice and neat. I adjust them quite a bit depending on where I'm going and the surface I'm on. Very nice highway ride. I bought them for about $60 each and the dual remote cost me about $120. I did the intallation myself (was quite a chore to do, but not bad).
So... I do recommend them.
