Well I went to 4 Wheel Parts here in San Antonio and they want $1800 for the Fabtech 3 1/2 in lift and install....Does this sound right....Wasnt impressed when they gave mye the cost of everything seperate..in the adds ive seen it says kit includes everything......? Seems to me if it comes in a kit it shouldnt be pay for each piece...Looking for feed back guys/gals...Dont let them do it to me...

Also they said the spindles are on hold because of some kind of defect they found...anyone know anything about that ??

Hey didnt try that but i did go to another place and by coinsidence I had arrested the owner of this store and even he gave me a way better price for the lift..but hesitant about using him, going down the road and having the suspension fall apart wouldnt be good....but will probably use him anyway, I think we all take a chance anyway....Ill just have to inspect real good...treated him good then maybe he will do the same now....Thank Dave

PS..will probably do it around Sept 15..if you guys dont hear from me after that call the POLICE....!!!

There is a recall on the Bullseye Spindles. Late July, I recieved a certified letter from Off Road Warehouse in San Diego, indicating a potential hazard with the lower ball joints that come with the spindles. I brought it in for a free inspection and they said I have the bad ball joints, from what company, I didn't ask. They gave me a new set of Moog brand ball joints which I swapped out myself. They swap them for free if they installed the spindles, but I did. Off Road Warehouse said it doesn't affect all Bullseye spindles, just during a certain manufacturing window.

As for the Fabtech kit, that sounds very high even with installation. With decent shocks, it should cost "approx" 850. The reason they price it in pieces is because they are boxed that way and each has their own part number. The cheap prices in the magazines probably have bargain priced shocks.

Patricio, Thanks that helps alot....want the spindles on to..but i guess i will have to wait till they start to reship them...

Also does anyone out there have the spindles and fabtech 3 1/2 with 285s or 295s...it will still fit in the garage right....??
