I am looking to install a 3" Body Lift in my '92 F150 XLT 4x4 AUTOMATIC. I have many questions so please help if you can.

1. What is the best kit to buy? JC WHITNEY, PERFORMANCE AC..... etc. ?

2. I am not very mechanically inclined, how much welding, and modifications will I have to make (drilling, moving, etc.)

3. What type of tools will I need?

4. Will it affect the performance of my truck?

5. Are the instructions clear enough for a novice as myself?

6. Please explain, if possible, in detail, what I need to do to the steering column, bumpers, and etc.

Nik, check out the topic right above this one. We have been talking about the 3" body lift. There is a couple of guys with the kit installed. Maybe they can help you, I haven't bought my kit yet.
