Shock replacement

Is it recommended to have the alignment checked after replacing the shocks?

If your truck is properly aligned, then you don't need an alignment after changing shocks. Shocks don't change suspension geometry.

shocks no, but struts yes, expecially if u mess with the plates when changing the struts, but if u have a ford truck, u dont have struts..
