Torsion bars cranked

In an attempt to level out my 2000 reg. cab 4x4 w/ORP, I had to crank my torsion bars all the way and I'm still a 1/2" lower in the front......what gives?

thanks

Im not sure why the front is still lower. But, you shouldn't crank them up all the way. If they are up all the way, crank them down a little. It could become pretty dangerous with them cranked all the way. Did you have the front end jacked up before you cranked them?

Yes, I did have the front end jacked up. Why is it dangerous to have them cranked all the way?

With them fully cranked it could be possible for them to snap. I haven't actually heard of it happening just from that. But, it's only logical to be better safe than sorry. If you think about it, cranking them up all the way puts more strain on them, so the more strain the greater the risk of failure.
