Question Lowering My S'Crew

I am thinking about getting the beltech 3"/4" drop kit but I am wondering what is the main difference between the "Drop shocks" and the "Active shocks." The active shockare about $60 more than the drop version. Is the expensive set better? Thanks.

The Nitro Actives have a higher pressure. Most people prefere to use something better than the Bell Tech shocks. Some people like them, but most don't. The Lightning Bilsteins are a good choice and can be had for abot $35-50 depending on where you get them. Fordpartsonline.com has them for about $35 as does lightningforceperformance.com.

look at Kevins post on the 3/4 kit about shocks

SilverCrew... I just outlined a couple options in detail under KEVINS bell tech 3/4 post toward the top of the main page...

just some food for thought....

I was never able in 5 years of installing lowering kits to satisfy any customer with Bell Tech shocks

Throw away the shocks that come with the kit. Anyone who has ever had them HATE them. Go for a set of Bilsteins...they are well worth the money. Great ride and handling characteristics.
