Thumbs up 4x4 front sway bar

I've been testing my new Quickor 4x4 front sway bar for several weeks now. The difference in overall handling and flatter cornering is huge. I already had a Hellwig rear sway bar and Bilstein shocks which firmed things up and improved control. The front bar made the biggest improvement by far of the three mods. It may have been the missing piece of the puzzle that tied everything together. The bar is 1 3/8" diameter 4140 chromemoly. Removing the factory bar and installing the new larger one was a challenge.

I had the infamous Hellwig thump or pop on inclined right turns. Robert from Hellwig worked with me trying to correct the problem, but nothing improved. Quickor employees rode with me, offered suggestions and gave me parts free of charge to attempt to fix Hellwigs problem. This was before Quickor offered a front bar for my truck or I had even placed an order! They never bad mouthed Hellwig even though they had the perfect opportunity and audience. Since installing the front bar the thump is GONE! The front bar must have tightened up the chassis and limited flex to a point before the noise occurs. No, I don't work for Quickor or get any type of kickback. I paid full retail for my bar. They are nice people offering a product that works at a fair price.

So what do you have now, the Hellwig or the Quickor up front. Both companies make a rear sway for the 4x4 2001. Which rear bar would your recommend that I go with, and why. Is one kit better than another.

haze10,
I've got a Quickor front and Hellwig rear bar right now. Hellwig didn't make a 4x4 front bar the last time I checked. When I got the Hellwig rear bar they said they were working on a 4x4 front bar, which they decided later not to manufacture. I wanted a matched set of bars, F&R. I wouldn't have gotten the Hellwig rear bar if I had known they wouldn't make a matching front bar.

I'd go with either the Quickor or Hotchkis bars if I had it to do over. Since I already had a rear bar I went with a Quickor front bar for $219. Hotchkis only sells both bars together as a kit for $500-600. So it was a $ deal for me. The quality of the Hellwig end link spacers and hardware is lacking. Both Quickor and Hotchkis offer better quality end links and hardware, IMO.
