To Bag Or Not To Bag..
To Bag Or Not To Bag..
To Bag Or Not To Bag..To Drag or Not to Drag, those are the questions I face.
Im looking for input from people that bagged their actual daily drivers with FULL air suspension. Not helper springs, but all bags.
I am mainly concerned with reliability. I do not want to do fast bags and try to make the truck dance or hop, I just want to be ableto make it lay frame.
BUT, I will be driving the hell out of this truck, and many times I will not be close to home to do repairs. I travel for work and will put about 40K miles on this a year, with 35K being atleast 500 miles from home. How often do these bags blow out? Are they much more difficult to swap out than a tire?
What kind of effect do bags have on payload capacity? I also would be doing a monster notch and 4 link. Would I still be able to pull a car hauler type trailer? How about a 25' boat? I see ads for 2500 and 2800lb bags.. Are those weights per bag, continuous at a reasonable pressure? Will lightening wheels tuck?
I have a 97 XLT flareside extended cab.
