I have a 2003 Supercrew that I will be towing with. It will be towing approx. 6000 # only one day a week for 30 miles on good roads. It has 5.4 automatic. Can I lower 2" in the rear and still tow with it?? Please offer any advice or experiences you have.

your truck will behave exactly like it does now. the 2" shackle drop does not effect towing capacity or capibility.

 

Yeah , but will it sit it down to the bump stops with a load on it ?

 

If that happens you could always get a set of air bags for the back
