need tech on baggin an F-150 front.

I am going to bag my Screw soon and want to lay frame when I'm done. I know that my wheels will tuck and fit into my fenders (did the measuring) I would like to know if anyone has bagged the front with all the stock control arms? I've heard you need new lowered units and I've heard that don't and you can cut out an 1" of lenth on the lower control arms and fix camber problems, and use a dropped spindle to be able to lay frame? Anyone done this or know of a link to some pics or tech info on this?

greatly appreciated.[IMG][/IMG]

have you been to airride.com yet? They have a how-to article on bagging the front suspension of a supercrew.

well, no one actually makes a "lowered spindle" for our trucks
but I can hook you up on a kit that will do almost the same thing (modified spindles, etc)
the only problem is that you need at least 20's, no more throwing on a 16" spare with that setup
It gives you basically NO NEGATIVE CAMBER
you keep your stock control arms and everything
plus, if you ever body drop, its easier to do with this setup compared to control arms....

Air bags

I believe that you can bag your truck with stock a-arms.They make kits for both stock on lowered.I do believe that AIM makes dropped spindles for the new generation F-150s.What would work great on your truck is the air wave bags which are bags with a built in shock. They are trick but spendy, well worth the bucks.
