Bed left lean fixed

Got tired of my 1999 reg cab being 1 inch lower on the left rear so I went to a spring shop in town and had them take a look at it. The mechanic was real helpful and said the problem was quite common because of the gas tank location, also said that the problem was more prevalent on chevys than fords. He said to fix the lean just needed to have the left rear leaf spring removed and re-shaped. The repair took 1 hour and cost 135.00, it's now as good as new. Could have saved 90.00 had I removed the spring myself, maybe next time, if there is a next time.

I noticed that on my truck too. I just thought it was my fat a$$!
Does the reshaped springs affect the ride at all? Will they eventually settle down again? Just curious.

Happy Holidays

The ride is exactly the same. I asked the mechanic if I would have to do this again anytime soon, his reply was "not with this truck".
