Why do some people block out their plates when posting pics of their vehicles?? Is there some risk on the net that wouldn't be on the street?? Just curious.

 

I did because I had seen others do it here. Just a precaution I guess.

 

out there who would and can take your plate and get your address,then find a customer whom needs a car or truck just like yours(nothing better than having a downloaded pic to show),then come take it....I,m sure some of our law enforcement members would agree...car theft and the chop shops are a big business
