SC Towing

Hi All. I am curious about those of you that might have a SC FX4 and do some towing. I have the 5.4 w/the regular rear end, not sure of the gear ratio off the top of my head. Anyway, I tow about a 2000 lb trailer and run/ran with the overdrive on. At about 65mph she tows ok. When I get in the 70mph area, she has a tendency to downshift and the rpms go up. I am really just curious as to the characteristics of the SC FX4 and your towing experiences.

Thanks

i tow my 5500# camper with my screw and dont use o/d and rarely go over 65. with a light trailer like yours it might go in and out using it in the hills. you can try towing wthout o/d but your mileage will suffer greatly at those speeds.
