It should be the same once you get the headlight switch "console" out of the dash. That is where there is a difference. The '99 used a "combination" to retract the tabs holding it in. On a 2001, you have to pry it out. I haven't done the mod yet. Haven't found the time, but hope to soon.

Here is a link that I am going to use.
http://www.svtlightnings.com/svt/how...s/foglamps.htm

Here is the link I used on my '99
http://www.geocities.com/tedoca/headlight.html

Anywhere it says to use a small file, I used a Dremel tool instead, worked excellent when I did the '99.

Hope U like.

Ooops...forgot to give credit where credit is due. I was able to find the info I needed by reading posts about this mod by a member here called FedExPilot . His posts supplied links needed.

Swat,
Welcome , You will find alot of good info here .
I just traded my 01 Screw for an 03 Screw. Picked it up today. I was originally planning to do a 04 but I know there are some change and did'nt want the first year out of a new design.

So, Tell me about your Stang ! I have a 2000 Silver GT convertible with a 5 speed. I don't drive it much I only have 12k on it. I did some cosmetic mod's to it like black bullitt rim's from Ford Racing & some 01 side scoop's & hood scoop & a mach1 chin spoiler. Next will be a triax shifter.

What stang board's do you hang on ? I usually hit Stangnet .

Fall
