It is the easiest mod you will ever do.
Loosen the nuts off of the bolts, both sides, top and bottom.
Using a floor jack, and maybe a block of wood, jack the rear of the truck up, BY THE TRAILER HITCH. Best if you have two people
As you feel the slightest weight taken off the springs, you will be able to pull the bolts out easily. Just install in reverse, except you will need to lower the jack to get the bolts back in the lowered shackles.
