Your gonna love it...

Did he make sure to bake it first? Not that it matters now but fiberglass tends to shrink so keep an eye on it because you may have to adjust it later.

Looks good! Are those vents functional?

Also now that you have that hood you need to get a diffrent grille to match like MAC[H]Z...

vents & grill

the vents are open with just the lil grill over them... therefore they will let in some cooler air..... it is not hooked to the induction system. For that I use the Airaid.

yes I am looking at the grill....tho the installation looks daunting.
any suggestions on where (what type of place) to get that done.

I am still enjoying the look

Guys,

I think those hoods look awesome and functional too, great mod especially if the original hood gets damaged from an act of God or something similar, kids with hammer...Did I miss the cost? If so then I'll find it later, if not, please advise...

Post Cost of hood

Cost $439 form Cervinis

$ 80 shipping to FL

$200 to have painted (

a really good deal on the painting from a exceptional fibeglass guy here in town --he works only by referral and I was lucky to get in then ....he cut me a nice deal cuz my buddy who referred me had helped him out. The paint alone is easily $100 )

I love the hood.. . and it was promted because my original hood was hail damaged

Thumbs up

That hood looks great! I'm still trying to decide which aftermarket hood I want to get.

A dumb question,
Do those scoop's come open or did you have to open them ? I like the look's of the hood, but would'nt want the ram air functional due to rain, water, snow & ice getting in there. Like if I were to go through the carwash which I do about every week.

Hey fall

There are open but the grilles stop almost all water from going in. Up here in NH we have rain,Snow and I wash atleast 1 per week during the winter in a laser car wash with no problem at all.
