I need to order a new hood for my 2001 SuperCrew

Hail damage....... I think i want one with Cobra like scoops(one on each side)

would appreciate links and any other HOOD comments... I also like the Cervinis but think the rounded ones on the Cobra style fit the rounded lines on the SCrew a bit better.

Very open to comments..... Thanks in advance

one ad lists the cobra hood for 595$ I have no idea if that is a good price though.
I love this cobra hood too, and plan to get one sometime
Plus, I have a picture of an F-150 with a Cobra hood and the NOS purge valve spew's out the holes in the hood. It looks sweet as hell! kinda like a brahma bull snorting or somethin.

 

I have one on my Lightning. I picked up a 2002 Supercrew last week and did have thoughts of putting the hood on the Screw.

 

I am unsure what it looks like, but my JEGS catalog lists a carbon fibre application for the f150 by APC. I have seen some honda's with these hoods, and wonder if they are truly carbon fibre. Additionally, the people who put them on their vehicles never paint em and I have seen at least one that looks like it is starting to fade similar to old fiberglass.

Ive had mine since 1997 and its been on 2 trucks No problems at all.

 

I was just wondering if the cobra looking hood is the same from suncoast creations as americanautodesigns, just two different companies selling them. Or are they actually different hoods, if so which would you recommend? thanks
