What do you think it would take to get Ford to put a vertical sliding power rear window in the supercrew?! You know, one like the 90's model's Bronco has, or a Toyota 4-Runner has! Imagine the usefulness for topper's, and backing trailers, HECK just the plain FUN of rolling ALLLL the windows down and being able to cruise............................................ ..........................

Sounds like a lot of work but if its hollow under the window and you can setup a track, I guess you could do it...

It's not something I would custom fab. But I sure think it'd be cool to see it come from the factory! But, if someone did do one custom they would be DA MAN!!!

I'm not sure about the dimensions and such but, the Explorer Sport Trac comes standard with a 'up/down' power rear window. Wonder if someone could custom fab one using that part?

On the Sport Trac (I owned one) the slider had only three positions: Fully Closed, Completely Open, or Vent (open about 2 inches). My power slider in the Super Crew has multiple positions, just like your driver's window. I liked the "up/down" of the Sport Trac, but I like the many positions available on the SC.
