Hey Alt,

Weathertech is the brand to go with in my opinion as well. Take a look at mine...

Daveman,
Did you get yours locally? I'm just down the road in Ladson, and realized last weekend how nice those would be to have.
Thanks

ScrewFly,

I got them at a place called:

Cross Country Campers
3635 West Montague
N. Charleston, SC 29418
(843) 552-7515

I also bought my bedrug from them too and they installed it for free, well I'm sure I paid for the install...

If you're in the Air Force, then you probably pass right by the place on occasion. They aren't too far from interstate 526 near the Coliseum. It's a small world, isn't it, especially due to the internet?

How long have you owned your screw? Where did you buy it?

Later,

~DM~

I've only had the SCrew for a month, but I love it! I traded my SVT Contour for it at Palmetto Ford. I got a pretty good deal, considering its a 02. Now I need to "make it mine" with some mods.
I'll have to go by and check it out. I've been getting some prices from Highrollers for some things, but I have to shop around. Air Force is a good career, but it won't make ya rich!
Thanks for the info! I'll go by there when I get some time.

( sorry for temorarily hijacking the thread, carry on. )

Daveman,

Question for you on the BedRug. How do you like it? How does it hold up in the weather? Do you have a tonneau cover? It does not appear so from your pic.

Was just wondering what you thought of the quality and durability of the BedRug compared to a drop in or spray in.

TIA,

Jim

Jag,

I love the bed rug. I have had no problems whatsoever thus far and it's been almost a year. I've hauled lumber, furniture, boxes of stuff, concrete in bags and trash. It gets rained on each and every time the weather turns sour, yet it never shows any signs of a problem from the water.

I like the feel and look but as with any mod, each to his own. The part I like most of all, is the fact it's removable. If I get a new Super Crew then I can just peel it out with the velcro strips.

Hope that helps with your decision.

Later,

~DM~

ScrewFly....

Howdy Fellow AF brother...

I'm stationed at Randolph at the good ole AFPC... Won't go too much into detail from there but I work in the SysAdmin section making everything like VMPF and such work for the rest of the world...

I take it you're a flyer?

I'd like to give my impression's of Weathertechs, first they look great, install easy. my only two complants is the front visors fit alittle loose, at 45 mph thet rattle. after 3 calls to weathertech they send out a rubber shim kit, Ididn't solve the problem. I went back and forth with tech suppport for two months on ways to fix it. I asked if they could replace with another pair to see if they were any better, I was told that because the were over two months old they would do nothing. Told me to sell them to someone else with a SC. I really wasn't happy with thier handling of the problem, I hoped they worked because I like them but they didn't work on my truck. I was told One out of a thousand fords have this problem. I will be trying another brand and would be careful with buying directly from weathertech. I think a middle man would of replaced them after three calls and nowing that they have a problem. Good Luck

I like my Weathertechs . I have just one complaint . When I go offroad in the desert it gets real dusty . The fine dust gets in between the Weathertechs and the glass . It squeaks like crazy and makes an awful grinding noise until it's cleaned out . Cleaning that area is a PITA but I still keep them on .
