I installed the new sway bar ($134 delivered - J.C. Whitney) tonight. You guys were right, the instructions are terrible. Someone had posted a few pics a while ago - thanks. They were more help then the instructions that it came with. Only problem I had was initally wedging the parking brake cable under the bar. I had all the bolts on and was beginning to tighten the whole thing down when I noticed. All-in-all a pretty easy installation.


I took it for a drive afterwards. I was prepared to hear a bunch of noise from it. I heard nothing. Tight as a drum. The truck had a different feel though. Maybe my arms were tired from all of that wrenching

Time will tell if it was worthwhile, for now, thumbs up to Hellwig!
