Power Window
Power Window
Just wondering if every Ford Truck does this ... I have not brought it to the dealers attention, because both the Expy and S'crew have worked this way since I purchased them.
When I am rolling up ALL the windows the passenger front is much slower. The ONLY time the passenger front window is as fast as the others is when you roll it up alone. If you hit any other power window button as your are rolling up the passenger front window it slows to ~half the speed. All windows seem to be the same going down.

It's the load on the power circuit with all of them going up at the same time. The window circuit shares the power with all the windows, so when all of them are in use they split the power. My Ford trucks have always done that.
Try this, put your headlights on and roll up a window, now roll up (or down) all of them and watch the headlights dim. Also when the window is all the way up and you try to put it up more the motor will draw even more power.
I have noticed with my truck that the passenger side is slower as well, it may be the last window in the circit or something.
If I have both front windows down and then have a window race (I need a life) the driver side always wins by at least 5 or 6 inches.
So your not alone in the world, just most people don't notice or just don't care.
