Grease Fittings?
yep......
they figured that the one with the grease fitting goes through the most service. i hear that you can take a large seringe and inject grease into the boot and then follow up with a dab of super glue to seal the hole....thanks bill(ford)
Idler Arm ?
I do believe this is still called an idlerarm. OR at least that is what I think it is called.
I ran out to the garage, and took a snap of it.
The picture was taken upside down, and they are on the passenger side of the front end.
The fittings are the black caps, I put grease fitting caps on them, so I don't have to mess around cleaning off the ball before I hit it with the grease gun. Just so when you look at them, it is a black cap, with a tab on it. Should be clear enough to see them.
In the pic one is on the left hand side of the pic, pointing down ( would be pointing up on the truck ), and the other is on the right hand side of the pic, pointing to the left ( pointing to the rear of the truck. You can see this in relation to the front antisway bar.

BTW I saw no fittings on the rear u-joint, I was just under theere this weekend putting on my Bilstein shocks.
All the abov eis for a 4x2........maybe I should have said that in the post above, and asked more when I first replied. Could be different on a 4x4

I just bought my truck recently and I was looking at past oil change receipts from previous owner and it stated 2 zerk fittings. I have not looked into it myself.
