Has anyone had a chance to check out their electric retractable tonneau covers in real life?
Seems like it would be really nice, and allow for a continued stock appearance.
Any info would be greatly appreciated!

I thought it looked really slick at the website. Remote control, w/ bed light and power locks...
However, I saw on competitors site www.rollnlock.com that they had to use a work around on the super crew because of a trapezoidal bed which is actually 5 inches wider at the cab. They made sume funky looking rails to make the slider thing fit in the middle and have square rails. Lots of drilling....

Saw the rollnlock on a Ram it looked a lot better.

I answered your post in another thread (I'm thinking the SuperDuty thread), but thought I might as well answer here as well. Both the RollNLock and the P/E manual model (not sure about the power, but believe it will as well) have problems with fading, based upon what I have seen. I have seen all of the big three rolltop covers (Pace Edwards, RollNLock, and Retrax)installed on SuperDuty's. IMHO, the Retrax maintains its appearance better over the long run. I didn't experience any fading with my Retrax on my '00, while my father in law had a PE installed on his Silverado for the same length of time and the top was fading, and required cleaning and/or conditioning of the fabric top.
Email me if you want any more information on the Retrax.
(There are pictures of the Retrax in my gallery if you want to check them out.)

I put a PE manual rolltop on my SD and I am very disappointed with it. The color faded in less than a years time and now there are air bubbles forming all over it between the vinyl and the aluminium
! I definately would not recommend this cover to anyone!!!-Paul
