Stickey Steering wheel and Leather seats ?

I could clean this thing everyday. I'm really getting sick of it. Can anyone recommend a good steering wheel cover? Anyone else had a similar problem?

While I'm at it, the leather seats and wearing shorts don't really go together. Anyone own a good seat cover?

Thanks,
Joe

Grant makes steering wheel rings, they are plastic I think and are made to look like wood. Wet Okles are some good seat covers. Yes, leather and hot summer days + shorts doesn't work too well, I agree.

Thanks for the reply

For $400 bills I'll put up with a sticky wheel! I gotta stop eating Popsicles while I drive.

You know what works really well for cleaning steering wheels? Baby wipes. I carry them in my console. Cleans the gunk right off.

Are you just having problems keeping it clean or is it wearing badly? If it is wearing badly Is your truck still under warranty? Ford will replace the steering will for wear. A buddy of mine has had I think three of the. Also the delamination of the leather on the two spokes just next to the cruise buttons. They replace them for that too.

Wink

I complained to my dealer about grime and stickyness on my steering wheel after one of my past visits (Techs greasy hands). And they cleaned it off. They used a carpet cleaner. Like "Resolve" or something similar.

I posted a similar post awhile back about a sticky steering wheel. Mine is not too bad right now after being cleaned. I guess it just has to be cleaned frequently if you have sweaty hands. (like I must have)

Good luck.
