SCREW Seats?
I have loooked at several 2002 F-150 Screw trucks and it seems that the seats bottoms in the front are about 4 inches shorter than My 97 Ext. cab. Maybe it is just me, has anyone else noticed this and if so did they do it to all trucks or just the SCREW, to give it more room.
Inahurry...you are correct!
The 2002 bucket seats are a bit shorter in the bottoms. I had a 2001 supercrew and now a 2002...I perfer the shorter 2002 seats because of the extra room...no more hitting my knee on the dash when JUMPING into the truck PLUS my long legs seem to have much more room to move around.
"Maybe" the only disadvantage of the 2002 seats are that the seat edges now have an higher lip on them and getting out of the truck is a bit different now...but I am getting use to it!
The 2002 also seem's to have a bit more back support than my 2001.
I really liked my 2001 Supercrew 4x4
But I love my FX4 Supercrew!!!
JUst My 2 Canadian cents though!

This is one difference that I have already noticed. I used to hit my knee on the dash of my Exped all the time while getting out. I am 6'5". However I have yet to hit my knee on my `02 SCrew. It seems like there is alot more leg room in this than my Exped. Once again I love my new truck.
Now 60 miles on the clock and counting.
