Thumbs up

I'm 20 years old, and I live in the south suburbs of Chicago. Everybody around here that is my age have a Camaro or a Mustang or something. They look nice, they might be quick, but they are so small and uncomfortable, and a waste of money. I don't like having what everybody else has, so I didn't buy a Mustang or a Camaro. I bought a big bad *** Ford Lariat Supercrew 4x4 with the 5.4. A couple mods, and I'd be able to keep up with a Camaro Z-28. Think about that for a minute, a big heavy truck against a small light car, and the big heavy truck keeps up. OH YEAHH!! Gotta Love it!!

Question

Hey Corpsie,

I'm just doin' my research.

Right now it's Regular cab vs Supercrew.

I won't be moving for 3 years (at the least) so I could live with a 3 year lease on a regular cab. The more $$ I save, the sooner I'll have 20% to put down on a house.

Then again, if I buy now (supercrew), it's less to worry about later.

I'm also curious about the F150 replacement. After a 3 year lease, the F150 replacement will have been in production for 2 years and hopefully any bugs would be gone.

I'm placing my order on monday, so I have some time to think about it. I won't reveal what I got until I have it in my driveway

I am in the same boat now with trying to decide which truck to purchase to replace my dying 1998 Dakota. I have been clooking at the Chevy trucks, the Toyota Tundra and now seriously considering a FORD. I havent owned a FORD in years. My father swears by them since he has always owned them and now owns a Lincoln Mark 8. Thankfully found this site and hope it helps me make a decision.
