The only mod I did was crank the front torsion bars, but that is not even needed to fit the tires.

Believe it or not but those pictures were taken about 60 miles north of Los Angeles last weekend. A friend (who also has a SCREW) and I always go wheelin at Gorman/Frazier park. Great place to get dirty!!

That amazes me you didn't have to do anything to get those tires to fit. I would like to move to alarger size one i wear out my factory tires. Alot of guys have said they had to trim the bumper, even with some smaller tires, but those were on supercabs, so maybe that makes a difference. It didn't seem to matter if they had the ORP either, still had to trim.

No trimming and absolutely no rubbing - and I have been through some pretty rough terrain. Because I stuck with the factory wheels the tires are still inside the fenderl but If you use a wider rim then I guess one would have to trim the fender or lift the truck.

Love the pics! And I found out exactly what I want to do to my truck now. I have wanted to pur on bigger tires but didn't want to spend money on a lift. One other question though, the table on Procomps page says that the tire your speaking of requires a 8-10 inch rim and the stock Ford 17" wheel has a width of 7.5". Now apparenly your doing just fine, but though I would ask.

Don't worry, the 7.5in. rims work fine. I have A/Ts and a friend of mine has the M/Ts also on the 7.5in rims and we have had no problems. I believe you have a 4wheelparts down in San Diego, go there and talk to them. They will reassure you that putting 33s on the 7.5in rims will work just fine.

Cool, now I just need to get the torsin bar lift done + alignment, then it's off to get some tires, by the way how much did you pay for yours and have you heard how loud the mudders are? I would rather have the mud tires but if there going to be too loud then the A/Ts may be in my future.
The A/Ts are a little louder than the R/Ts that came on your truck and the M/Ts are slighter louder than the A/Ts. Go with M/Ts, I am regretting not getting them. As far as your torsion goes, just have whoever puts on you tires crank them. I had 4wheelparts do it. Takes two seconds and there is no cost!!!!

So tell me what do you do with the old tires, are they worth anything to anyone??? I mean I would hate to just throw away what were hundreds of dollars or tires new, they must still be worth a good amount of money. I only have 12,000 miles on them, I would be happy if I got a fraction of what they were new and trade up for the Procomps.
Any suggestions? Do you do a private sale as in the classified ads or can you trade them in at the 4 wheel place? any info would be great, if I can get some desent return on them then I may be doing this upgrade a whole lot sooner!
