I hope your hood isn't open for a problem. Truck looks good, how's the truck pull a trailer that large.

The hood was open to let her cool off..just a habit of mine.
Everytime we pulled over to take pictures I would pop the
hood to dump a little heat. The Screw pulls our 29 ft trailer
with no problems...I wish I had taller gears but I don't
mind going a liitle slower and keeping the drivetrain stock
until the warranty runs out in 3 years.

I have upgraded radiator, Gibson sideswept, and the K&N FIPK.
trailer tow package, 3.55 LS, 4x4 ORP, Husky mud flaps (new this week), and a snugtop flat topper which I found to be perfect for
camping.

The trailer has 4 wheel electic brakes and I have a brake controller under the dash...The truck rides completly level
with the equlizeing bars. I also have a sway control.

The trailer is a ultra light aluminum framed construction. Steel
frame/chassis. Fiberglass siding. Its 4300lbs dry weight as built.
The awning, LP tanks, and camping gear, and 4 mountain bikes
not included in that weight. The (3) 40 gallon tanks are always
empty when on the open road

Thanks, TMeyers-Colorado

Truck and trailer look great. I was looking at trailers last weekend at the RV show and found a nice 26' slide that's 3995# dry. Sounds like I should be able to tow that no problem. I also have the 3.73, so that should help. I go to Wyoming quite a bit, have you towed your trailer up 287 to Laramie, or something comparable? If so, how's the power?

You should be fine....Have not towed or camped up north yet.
Our tows nice on 125 @60-65mph...Once hit 70 but when trucks
pass ya you better hold on !!!...They form a big high pressure
wave out in front and that can get the trailer swaying a bit.

We camped out west and in southern Colorado so far.

I always wish for more power but the PSD was not justifed
for camping 2-3 weeks per year !!...The Screw does fine
towing 6000-6500lbs !!

Good luck, TMeyers-Colorado

Hey TMeyers,

Could you please tell me how you make the link come out to your gallery site????
I've been trying to have the link for mine come out, but I must be doing something wrong. I have the site in my signature, but it doesn't come out as a link. I've tried different html code, but still no luck.

Please HELP.
