My 2001 screw is due for the 30,000 mile service. What can I expect to pay and what will this include.

 

Well, I'm not exactly 110% sure what all the 30,000 mile service calls for however, I can tell you this, if you take it to the dealership to have this done, they'll do the standard lube/rotation etc... however, you better lube yourself up (and touch your toes) when they hand you the bill. OUCH!

 

I did call the local dealer and the service manager said it could cost me anywhere from 450.00 to 850.00 depending on what all needed to be done. I'm just curious of what others have paid.

 

My last truck was 3 years old and had less than 17k miles on it... I'm not sure my '01 will ever reach 30k...

Look in your Scheduled Maintenance Guide to see what kind of work needs to be done. It's fairly extensive as I recall.

 

I think the book says tranny fluid change at 30k doesn't it?

 

On 02-02-2000 I had the 30,000 maintenance done on my
1997 Super Cab. they done this:
OIL 5-W-30 MC FILTER 820 MC
SERVICED TRANS, REPACKED FRONT
WHEELS, REPLACED FUEL FILTER

It was $261.58
My Screw has 21,800 on now so it will about a year before
the 30,000 comes up.

Well I took it to Ford and the bill was $550.00

 

What all did they do? Sounds pretty harsh...
