Panic button on remote wire location in truck

Hi-
Does anyone know where I can locate the wire that activates the headlights and horn when the panic button switch is pushed?
Heres what im trying to do: My Screw is becoming a show truck and I have installed a set of hidden strobe lights in each corner lamp. I want to be able to push the Panic button on my remote and have the strobes activate. Obviously I cannot just wire into the headlights because when I turn the headlights on at night, the strobes would activate. So I want to find the wire that runs from the Panic sensor to the lights, and take that wire and plug it into the strobe system. Help--please.

I think all of that is controlled by the GEM. If so, it probably just uses one set of wires to the lights and controls power with internal circuitry.

You may want to get a Clifford or something like that, you can control I think 4 relays from the remote, to control anything!

Plus they have a module that can roll windows up and down.

I had this on my last truck and loved it. Everyone was awed by the windows being controled from the remote. Now get a remote start too and then have the stobes controled by it, motorized bed cover, hydrolics, the possiblities are endless!!!

PANIC is handled by the TCSM. Lamp output should be a light green with yellow stripe wire. Don't forget to disconnect the horn......

Thanks for your responses. Buschman, can you tell me the approximate location of that wire. Also, now does that same wire run to the headlights AND the horn? Im guessing that the TCSM is some type of control module and I will see the wire exiting out of it??

LightningCrew, as soon as I can I will get pictures of the lights in action. Its a little tough to do because for some reason a digital camera can not record strobe light flashes.

I REALLY appreciate your guys help.

Nick

The TCSM (Truck Central Security Module) is a white box located on the bulkhead above and to the left of your brake pedal. This module controls the power locks, remote keyless entry, keyless entry keypad, etc.

This module has two connectors, a 26-wire connector (on the left) and a 22-wire connector (on the right). The wire you want is the Light Green with Yellow Stripe which is part of the harness going to the 22-wire connection.
