Anyone know how to reset the SERVICE ENGINCE SOON light. I unplugged my air temp. sensor today and for got to snap it back together and the light came on.
Your help would be appreciated.

 

Well, if you do nothing, the light will go off on it's own, but that will take a bit of time. If you want to turn the light off right away, the only way I know of to do it is to turn everything off then remove the negative cable from the battery. Then turn the headlights on for about 5 minutes to drain the capacitors in the computer. Turn the lights off, and reconnect the battery.

The bad part about doing the battery thing is that you'll have to re-program your radio and your engine and transmission will have to relearn everything. Your transmission, in particular, might act a bit funny for a little while.
