Voltage inverter

Did any one permanently mount one of these in their crew? If so where and how? Just wondering. It looks kind of messy with all those wired all over the place. Thanks

I don't have mine hard wired, but I guess you could, just mount it under the seat in the back (they do need air space around them) and then run the power off of the wire going to the power point in the back. I would find out what guage of wire there is back there and what fuse is on it before determining the highest wattage inverter you can buy is.

My 400 watt inverter plugs into my power point but inverters that I have seen in higher wattage all have to be hard wired.

I have a 400 watt also and the instructions said that you were limited to the amount of watts that you can draw if you plug it in. You can't get 400w out of it unless you hard wire. If I were to wire it I would prob. use 10ga. just to be safe but I thought I would see if anyone attempted it. Thanks a lot for the reply.
