I got a price of about $340 dollars from the dealer for the chrome Harley grille. I would like to install the HD grille on my 02 SCrew Lariat. I have seen others post that they have the HD grille. Does the grille in fact fit my truck? Apparently you leave the original grille in place and it mounts over it (screws in some how)? The dealer is saying he is not sure the part will fit...and it is a no-return special order item. Comments and experiences?

I have the Harley grill on my 01 SCrew XLT. They are interchageable and pretty easy to install. You will get the black surround with the grill as I did. Thats why the cost. Good luck!

 

Don't bother with the Harley grill. I don't know if it's true, but I've heard they are plastic. Go with a billet insert. Its cheaper plus you'll find it in any parts catalog. There's Stull, Trenz, Steel Horse and more that conpanies that produce billet grills.
