rolltop cover - benefit from my SCrew up
I posted a while back about the Pace-Edwards roll top cover and want to share some information I've picked up since then.
1. The cover WILL NOT FIT with ANY aftermarket bedliner unless you cut the liner to below the rails.
2. You CANNOT use a bed extender with the cover.
3. They WILL NOT accept returns unless the shipping box is unopened (exception in 4)
4. They MAY accept a return with a 20% restocking fee plus more if any damage was done to the cover (plus shipping).
I got this information from the Pace-Edwards customer service manager, Robin. I asked why this info was not posted on their web site and was told they don't feel they need to. The bottom line for me is that I like my liner, I like my extender, and I don't like this top. I'd rather take a loss and sell it to somebody else than give this company a lot of money for nothing. If you don't have the issues I do and want this cover, drop me an email. It is new, undamaged, in box. I live in Leesburg, VA. If nobody here is interested, I'll try it on Ebay.
