black or chrome brush guard??

black or chrome brush guard??
Hey everyone. I have a question. I have a silver 2001 SCrew and I am about to get a brush guard put on it, but I don't know if I should get a black or chrome one. In some ways I think the black would show up better on the silver color of the truck, but then again I think the chrome would make it look a little better. Just wanting a few opinions before I go out and buy one. Let me know what you think.

What is the use??? For show, or for off road protection and/or both??
Show I think Chrome
Both= maybe black ( I hear that black shoe polish is AWESOME for covering those minors scrapes, although I have NO experience with this, but I have heard it MANY times..
Good luck, and whatever you do I think the SCREW will look just a good!!!!
