Unhappy GEN III Leather seats revisted

Has anyone had any luck with the back and leg pain discussed earlier? I phoned Ford Customer Service (really nice BTW) and she said nobody else has ever complained about this. I told her about the 4 or 5 in this group who have had the same problems and mentioned that a few have complained to Ford.

She suggested I see my dealer. I will but I doubt they will do anything.

Let me know,
Joe

Sorry, I find my Gen III captains chairs to be more comfortable and supportive, especially on long trips, than my 97 Ford bench (which was pretty good), my 85 Ford, or my wife's Maxima. They are WAY better than the company's Chevy seats.

I called the provided number after reading earlier posts about the lack of LOWER back support.
In my '97 Exploder, I had the old Mustang GT seats with the electric air pump that inflated an air blatter. That sucker gave perfectlower back support.
This crank thingy is too high up in the Gen111 seats.

I gave them my $0.02

I have been pleased with the support. I have lower back problems and can really feel it when a car seat is not good. I would probably like a little more adjustment on the lumbar, but it sure is better than my old Nissan truck and is better than my wifes Maxima. I just wish my truck would keep up with her Maxima. Guess I need a Lightning for that.

No problems with the seats, quite comfortable and are holding up well. I have 14k now.

I have the bench seats (cloth) in my SCREW they are the GEN III and the bolsters are really high on both sides, I would have to give them a D- for comfort... I had back pains for the fist 3 weeks but they went away as I broke the seat in somemore. But being a tall person 6'4" the seat is really not that comfortable and as far as the lumbar thing goes, forget it, can't use it at all, no where nere the right part of my back to do any good. Sure do wish I got the captin chairs instead but oh well....

Otherwise, I'm used to it now and even on a long trip it's not too bad once you get settled in. Love the truck like no other in every other way though.
