Electric Slider Rear Window

I know somewhere I've read it, where one of youz guys
took out your old window, and installed your new electric slider.
I can get the window direct from CR Laurence here in PHX for
$293.95. Everyplace I've called to inquire about price, tacks anywhere from 100 to 150.00 on to the price. THEN wants another 100 to 150.00 additional to install it.

Has anyone done their own, how tuff is it, where did you mount the motor and flex feed to the track.

Any help, shortcuts, etc, will be greatly appreciated.

I belive the window has a 5 year warrenty on it, but you may want to check to see if you have to have it installed by a authorised installer or not for the warrenty to be good.

This is a mod I will get when I have the <$>money</$>

Did it myself on mine. Not too hard. Found mine cheaper than what you quote at www.oemfordparts.com but I'm not sure on the total price. I'd have to look at my receipt when I get home. Installation wasn't too difficult. I took out the whole rear panel to put in the slider mechanism, and attached it to the floor. I cut a hole in the dash next to the power pedal switch for this switch. The kit came with everything needed to install the thing, even new weather sealer, so I have had no problems at all with mine. I love it, because I don't have to climb in the back seat to open my window now. It's a perfect addition to my moonroof, because I have tons of airflow now. Anyone need any other help, let me know.

Unfortunately I don't have any install pictures. There are only a couple of pictures of the switch installed in the dash panel. Look in my gallery for those. Total install time was probably 2 hours, and the majority was taking the old one out (it's stuck in there pretty well).
