Just installed the Airforce One Induction kit

Its a nice looking kit, can't say that it added the Horsepower they claimed it would though. Just goes to show, when it comes to making a buck, they will tell ya what you want to hear. Save the extra 50.00 plus and get the K&N kit guys.

i have a question for you guys -- the guys that welded my gibson exhaust went ahead and installed my air force one at the same time. the next day while driving, it slipped off (the truck sputtered and I pulled off and put it back on). it slipped off again on the way home (without sputtering) so I put some miles on without the filter on. when I got home I took off the filter and cleaned the teeth thoroughly with dishwashing liquid (it seemed very greasy). this got rid of the slip and it's been fine since. but I'm worried about what damage might have been done during the time it was off. what could that do to the engine?

thanks,
Wes

I wouldn't worry about it. As long as you weren't driving up and down dirt roads with a lot of dust, your alright. Just change your oil and keep the filter on.
