Question Question

Not sure if it's just the Lariat package, but our trucks have "residual" power after the ignition is shut off. This power allows you to close the moon roof, roll up the windows untill the door is opened. The circuit seems to be dedicated to the windows. Not the radio

I know that in my friends chevy, she can listen to the radio untill the door is opened.

My question is this: Do you think it's possible to wire the radio into the same delayed power circuit so that you can shut off the engine and listen to the radio untill you open the door?

I did this mod, works great but only problem is that if you lock out the passenger windows by using the switch on the driver armrest, you also kill power to the radio. I think it has to do with the location we are tapping into for power. If someone has figured out where to tap the wire that gives power to the windows from the drivers switches then I think the problem can be alleviated.
