I'm sorry about all the question's . I understand what you are saying about the side wall's of the tire's & the cornering , but this is a truck not a sportscar. I guess it's all in how you look at it.
I know what you mean about trying to clean these 17" 10 spoker's,they are kind of a bitch. They are nice looking though.
Who know's I might end up just putting on new rim's & staying with the 17" to save $. Just getting something with more shine and easier to clean.

It would be nice if BFG came out with a 17" 285/70 all terrain tire.
I know they already make a mud terrain in that size. I have seen what you mean about the 17" sizes coming out.I saw a set of 37/12.50/17 at the tire store the other day ( it's huge ) & pricey @ about 285.00 each.WOW!!!

Utah is a dirty state! I just drove through there after that storm last week. Instead of brown like your truck, mine was brown, black and white (salt?) with huge icicles hanging off of the nerf bars, wheelwells and bumpers. It was 5 degrees outside, and the road was white with ice and snow; I used 4WD high to get a better grip and drive a little faster on the mountain roads. A rig throwing up a rock and taking a chunk out of my windshield was the only setback. I have a lot of confidence in this truck. It just go's and go's, I love it!
I got rid of those marshmallow stock tires as soon as I left the dealership. I think the tires have made it be able to get great grip.
