Anybody having trouble with the power moonroof rattling? I am noticing it only on bumpy gravel roads - guess I'll have to stick to the pavement.......

 

I've had problems with my SC Power Moonroof since a month after taking delivery in March 2001. However mine rattles even on fairly even pavement, and while both closed and open. The dealer replaced the track on the first round, and the second round I don't know exactly what they did but it stopped for a month. Now it has started to come back when it is open.

I guess I'll take it in again when the rattle comes back consistently. The dealer indicates they have not had any other SC Moonroof problems.

 

I had the rattling problem; found a broken plastic part that connects the roof to the track. This part held the "roof opening panel water trough" in place. When the part broke, it allow the water trough to come loose on one side; this is what was rattling. I temporarily repaired the broken part and will take the truck in for replacement. Anyway, no more rattle...
