Unhappy Front Door Gasket

Has anyone had a problem with the gasket drooping from the top of the door arches? It is the one that is also finishing the headliner area above the front doors.

I have already had it to the dealer once who claims to have replaced the seal but......days later both the driver and passenger sides were drooping again. I should have marked the first one's since I do not trust that the dealer actually replaced it since I have caught them doing other false or un-necessary work for warranty repairs.

Am I better off taking it to the body shop???

-Thanx!

This is extremely mickey mouse to fix... put a few drops of glue onto the gasket... I used Superglue... had it handy... press back into place... won't ever fall off again... far less hassle than taking it in.

I agree with Beastrider, not sure I would use superglue.. probably go to Walmart and get a can of spray on 3M adhesive... shouldn't take much.

The rubber seal on my drivers door pulls off on the side, never all the way off, but about a 1/2 to 3/4 of a inch. I attribute it to a good seal and the suction of opening the door pulling it out... who knows.....
