Hey H13,

We pretty much have the same truck (mine in green sans the mud flaps but maybe as a future mod). I put in an aftermarket flat dash kit I found on ebay for $150. I've seen them for as much as $350 around the web for the medium burlwood.

It's a 40 piece kit, but I used only 20-25 of the pieces because I don't have the overhead console (I got the moonroof instead). It took less than an hour to install and after 3 weeks, so far rock solid. Nothing's peeling or pullling away. It really did add a lot to the interior of my truck.

I'm also considering adding molded dash pieces to the radio bezel and instrument cluster. I lease but if you own, there's a web site that takes your OEM pieces and adds a wood or carbon fiber finish to them. I believe they dip them in some solution and Voila! you have your wood trim.

I got pics on my other computer and list of websites to look for the molded and flat kits if you're interested.

Go to this album to see the pics of the flat dash kit I installed.

Wood Dash pics

Here a list of sites I cruised to before finding mine on ebay:

http://www.deco-tec.com/
https://www.dashesonline.com/main.asp
http://www.newsales.com/dash/moldeddashmenu.htm
http://customautotrim.com/wood-dash-...150_250_00.htm
http://www.exoticwooddash.com/mdf150.htm
http://www.dashcoversusa.com/B&I.html[URL]

This is the site that carries the dash I installed:

www.alkaplus.com

Good luck!

Sean,

The wood trim looks great, I like that color. I am pretty sure that is the color that I will go with also. Your interior is identical to mine.

I am just going to buy it online from http://www.alkaplus.com and not deal with ebay on this one.

Thanks for your help, will post pics when done.
