About to get a Super Crew
About to get a Super Crew
Hello guys.
Well, tomorrow morning I'll be going to my bank and possibly three different dealers looking to get a 2002 Super Crew XLT.
Wanted your opinion on this first though, Cheapest I've found the truck here in San Antonio is $22,791. That's for the 4.6l v8, power windows/locks/mirrors. Really base XLT, but I'm tradining in a car that I'm upside down on (2000 eclipse GT) so I can't really afford much more right now.
Is that about a going price for the Super crew? Any pitfalls to expect of the truck?
Thanks guys!

Here's a website with the same truck I'm looking at, different dealer (only shows MSRP on the site)
Hopefully the link works

I bought an F150 yesterday, and have been at the dealers for the past few weeks. The S'crew is a pretty pricey ride, well out of my range. Some of them that I looked at (and keep in mind, this was just in passing), were in the 25 to 30k range, as the sticker price.
I wish I could be of more help, but I wasn't really pricing these that closely. From what I hear though, these are pretty great, as they combine the comfort of a car with the benefits of a truck. Best of luck, just go in with a plan and research what they run!

go to edmunds.com and price out the truck...they will give you the invoice price. you are doing good as long as you are paying within a few hundred of invoice minus any rebates. didn't do the math but that number sounds pretty good
That is a very good price you're getting, even if it is a base model. Looks like you'll be over 7% below invoice on a 2002! I paid 1% below invoice ($25,900) for mine fully loaded.
