Who Got S'Crewed in South Carolina?

Hey fellow South Carolina Screw Owners,

I know some may say just read my profile but in this format we can quickly scan the info. If we all stick to a clean format then it will be real easy to read and find fellow SC Screw friends.

1. Where in South Carolina do you live? (Closest Major City or Actual Town)
2. What kind of screw do you own? (XLT, Lariat, KR, Harley, Custom, 4x4, 4x2 etc)
3. What is your screw's production date? (Window sticker or door jamb data plate)
4. What Color is your screw? (List Factory Color ID like Oxford White, Bright Red, Charcoal Blue etc)
5. Did you get screwed in SC? (Where is your Dealer Located)
6. What makes your truck special? (A Couple Unique Features, we all know they have 4 doors)
7. When did you get screwed? (Date you signed "Zee Papers")

Have Fun!

This is my own response to this thread:

1. Just north of Charleston in Summerville.
2. King Ranch 4x4
3. 20 April 2001
4. Chestnut
5. Yes, Jones Ford in North Charleston (Great Ford Dealer)
6. King Ranch Leather Buckets, Moon Roof, Custom 10 Spokers and that Chestnut Color.
7. 21 Sept. 2001

Talk to Ya Later,
DaveMan

Hey SC screw owners,

I guess it's just me and cyberhiker driving in SC, or at least the only ones willing to admit it. Man, there sure are lots of folks out there driving screws that I've seen. I guess they are just not members of this site or something else.

I know SC is by far the best state in the nation, but I'm still proud to be a SouthCarolinian as well as a USC graduate. Howmany other SC screw owners are proud to that?

I bet that USC thing will spark some conversation, good or bad I don't care.

Yeah,
I'm here too. Sorry been in Seattle for few days and didn't check the boards. I think my Sig tells most of what you asked. What do I like most. The room and the ride. And the looks. And the engine. Oh that's more than 2. Great truck.

I do have a question. What is the deal with the 2002 Fx4's? Do they have something we don't have from 2001. I think the sticker is ugly, reminds me of FLW fishing tour. No offense to fishermen. Anyway, can somebody tell me of they have a different suspension. Thanks.

Hey LakeSands,

One of these days, maybe all the SC screwees can get together and go somewhere or have some kind of event, what do you think? I know there are lots of screws out there but apparently very few frequent this web site/board.

Check out this link, navigate to page 9 and at the top right it explains what comes with the FX4 package.

Here is the link:

Have fun.

Hi Daveman, as an another South Carolinian (ex. N.Y. L.I.er) I am a Srewowner located in Mount Pleasant. Mine is a 5.4 L, Lariat and don't ask me about options since I have been adding them without looking back. I have had, during my life, lots of fine cars (U.S. and European), but must say this one has power and is very comfortable.) I bought it from Ford Mount Pleasant and I have had no problems with any objections I had including the replacement of the radiator. Today I ordered a Bedrug from West Ashley, but I think I was taken.
Nice talking to you.

Hey Roger,

Good to hear from you too. I have several co-workers that live in Mt Pleasant that make the commute to Summerville daily. You probably don't know any of them but it just seemed like I needed to mention it. Hope to talk again soon. Actually, I have a Highway Patrol officer friend (Jim) in Summerville and he's the guy that actually turned me on to the Super Crew body style. I told Jim about this site and he was curious and later told me he visited but has not joined yet. Jim's truck is dark blue 4x2 XLT with tinted windows up front just in case you might see him around.

Talk later,
DaveMan

Well I guess there are SCrews in Greeville and down on the coast and non in between. Where are all those people I see driving around in SCrews? Oh well I guess we'll have to represent SC on this board.

Hey Lake,

There is another couple guys in Columbia and one goes by Fireman467. I forget the other one but I know he's out there somewhere. I think lots of folks just are not into computers or just look at their trucks as a utility item for transportation only and not as a item to carry on about.

Good to hear from you too.

Talk later,
DaveMan

Thanks, Daveman, for your reply. Spend yesterday afternoon installing fog/driving lights (Ford's kit) - what a job and got everything working today. I also got my Bedrug, which I will tackle tomorrow.
