Question Poweraid Spacer

Hi Guys,

Does anyone have a poweraid spacer? I wanted to know if they were worth anything and if they inherently whistled...or do they only whistle with a FIPK installed? And advice would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Willderness

I have the spacer on my truck along with an FIPK. It DOES whistle. I installed them at the same time so I can't tell you if it will whistle by itself nor what either would do for performance installed independently. I can tell you with both installed I did see and increase in mpg and throttle response.

Thumbs up Thanks

Guys,

Thanks for the imput. I have read about them and have saved myself a hunderd bucks! I think the best solution is the FIPK. I heard the spacer doesn't do much by itself.

Thanks again,

Willderness

I'm going to say that your smart. The FIPK is the best thing you can do aftermarket for the money, period!

The spacer may do a bit, it does make a cool noise at certin RPMs, my friend has one in his chevy. I have heard that they really don't do much for the Fords, but thats a whole nother topic in itself.

Get a FIPK and a catback. Your engin will run better, cooler, and sound bitchin. As far as fule mileage improvements, you will see them if you don't use the extra power that you get, but for most of us (lead footed types) you will use the extra power to pass all the other cars on the freeway.
