Question Lightin' tails on a white screw?

Has anyone done this? Do you have pics? The picture in my mind thinks it might look pretty damn good, but I would like some proof.

PICS?

Do tell, where did you order yours, how much, and did you like where you got them?

They are from the ford dealer parts counter. 2001 lightning tail lights. I bought them way before the big price increase on them. I paid $40 a side for them, but i have no idea what they are getting for them now..

Here is a picture of my SCrew with L rear lights. I purchased mine before the price increase from www.oemfordparts.com for $35 a piece. If I were to get them now, I would probably get them from www.mrtaillight.com

ARGH! I can't get my picture to work. What am I doing wrong? I added the correct code, at least I hope I did.

I also got mine before the price increase at the local Ford dealer.

I wouldn't get them there now, or anywhere else at current prices for that matter.

I bought them at $80 for the pair. What are they now, like, double that?

That sounds like the prices I got through my sister in law, who works at a Dealer.

Can anyone explain the huge price increase?

Is it the increased popularity of these type lights?

I know most people are spending $400+ damn near $500 for a bunch of plastic. Helps explain the ever increasing insurance rates doesn't it.

i have a pair, one side has a small hole in the silver casing where the dealer poked one screw through a little. not noticeable unless you're standing right up next to the lights and staring in.

will sell the pair for $50.

beast97,

I checked out everything MrTaiLight had on ebay and could not find the lightning tails. They informed me they had a pair on ebay and i asked for the link and i have yet to receive it, and that was over 12 hours ago.

I did talk with a guy over at www.BilletSuperStore.com and he said they were also out and did'nt plan on getting any in soon because Ford has raised the prices through the roof. He mentioned that a company called Car Wares, if i remember right, is coming out with a pair that closely resemble's the lightning tails more than any aftermarket company so far. They're due in is about 2 weeks he said.
