just in case anyone is interested. i ordered my charcoal blue king ranch 4x4 s-crew on august 30th. it showed up on the car transport today (oct 3rd). not even quite 5 weeks since it was ordered. not too bad, imo. maybe dealerships aren't ordering as many trucks for their lot, therefore ford can concentrate more on the personal orders...? i must admit that i'm a little surprised it showed up this quick. just yesterday my salesman gave me a delivery date of october 8-9, appears he was wrong...but i'll take it!

Be careful in your dreams tonight. I know this is late now but I already slept in my lazy chair for 4 or 5 hours and now just got up a little while ago to check on this site and my email.

My ordering experience was similar. My truck came in just shy of 5 weeks from being ordered. I wish my Mom were having the same luck. She ordered a new Explorer. So far it's been seven weeks, and they have told her possibly another 3 on top of that. For some reason it seems that the trucks are done a litle quicker than the SUVs.
