Post More Details needed

Mrtailight.com is a good web site if you know what you want.

I am in the search as well for what looks best and exactly what to order. I have written to Mt Tail-light to inquire about this and and after a week I still have not heard a response.

Somebody did tell me how to change the tail-lights (it is the 2 screws you see when the tailgate is lowered)

NO mention as to how to change the front light or corners. Any tips or pics... would be good.

also any opinions as to whether the clears "alone" with the tails in the way to go -------- or is is better to go all "lightning"

this is a great forum with very helpful guys (and girls) but this topic has been a tough one to solicit advice & help on.

In terms of which light combo to go with, it is just personal preference. I wanted to eliminate the amber entirely since my truck is white, so I went with the lightning tails and clear corners. Many like the new lightning headlights a lot so for those the accompanying lightning corners are the only way to go.

As for removing the corners, pop the hood and above each corner light is a screw. Remove it and the corner should slide forward.

Here's my truck. You can see more shots if you like at www.f150world.com/Crewl1

lighning lights

hey, CrewL1.

regarding ur front blinker, corner, lights. did u buy those from Mr. Light along side of ur Lightning Tail Lights??? b/c they offer the "side lights" which i'm not too clear on. is the side lights the front corner blinker lights? or side lights as in behind the front wheel-well lights?

anyhow, i've been shopping for Lightning lights and Mr. Taillight.com is the cheapest so far for the rear tail lights. i have found front corner clear lights as low as $54.80. but not sure if those lights are similar to the $110 "Side Lights" on Mr. Tail Light.com

Lost and Confused.

Newby.

Mr. Taillight is COMPLETELY out of all Lightning Lights. I recieved an email from them this morning with no mention when or if they will be getting more. Other than Mr. Taillight, try OEMFORDPARTS.COM or FORDPARTSONLINE.COM. They are a little cheaper than a local dealer.

Here are the part #s and prices I received from Tersesa @ OEMFORDPARTS.COM

Tails
1L3Z-13405-CA
1L3Z-13404-CA
List - $161.67 EA
oemfordparts - $116.40

Headlights
1L3Z-13008-BB
1L3Z-13008-AC
List - $191.67 EA
oemfordparts - $138.00

Corners
1L3Z-13201-BA
1L3Z-13200-BA
List - $113.33
oemfordparts - $81.60

3rd Brake Light
1L3Z-13A613-AA
List $183.33
oemfordparts - $155.83

Newby, you can get the clear corners like mine here at the f150nline store:
https://www.f150online.com/cgi-bin/f....html&CODE=136

I have never purchased any thing from Mr.Taillight's store, but it seems to have good reviews from others.

just a reminder to those of you who get a hold of the Lightning tails:

the stock screws that came with your SCrew are TOO long for the bottom hole of the lightning tails. you need to either chop the screw or use about seven 1/4" washers (i did the latter on my SECOND set of lights after the dealer replaced the first that got poked through on one side) to make sure you don't poke through the casing.

don't want it to happen to anyone else...

regards,
Wes
